Join us as our Director, Client Education & Training! You will lead and organize our global Client E&T department and promote a productive and positive relationship all parties (internal and external).

 

Direct and shape ERT's client training programs. Build on our virtual training strategy for ERT including e-learning. Oversee the activities ofthe global E&T team. Serve as a point of reference, guide and mentor for team managers. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will

  1. Manage and organize our Client E&T department in a way that all trainees receive a modern and unique training experience involving face to face as well as virtual offerings. Responsible for the design, planning, implementation and delivery of reusable training programs to ERT clients (as well as ERT staff, specifically for ERT offerings, devices systems and program lines).
  2. Develop and execute a virtual training program with e-learning offerings, video trainings, web based trainings etc.
  3. Conduct ongoing client training needs-analyses. Coordinate with other client-facing ERT departments to find opportunities to continue building Customer Satisfaction.
  4. Oversee tactical aspects required for the team to develop and deliver training, including scheduling & coordination of training programs.
  5. Manage and monitor the department's budget.
  6. Direct the hiring, orientation and development plans for all staff in close cooperation with the heads of the various ETD business lines and e-learning.
  7. Assure documentation within the department and in accordance with QA guidelines, including SOPs, SWIs, training and training records.
  8. Key member of the Project Assurance process. Ensure staff are communicating across departmental boundaries.
  9. Maintain and report department metrics and performance to assure client satisfaction and continued process improvement.
  10. Design and maintain an effective customer feedback program to track and trend effectiveness and satisfaction of training courses with the aim to further improve ERTs overall training offerings.
  11. Meet with clients to understand requirements as well as respond in a timely manner on client conerns.
  12. Other duties may include:
    • Provide support for internal and external audits as it relates to Education and Training.
    • Support the development of new device and service offerings using the Voice of Customer.
    • Participate in industry professional organizations, seminars, and other key venues to promote ERT.
    • Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will offer

  • Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited University or equivalent.
  • 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or e-clinical industry required, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or upper management position leading large global and remote teams of internal staff as well as external consultants
  • Extensive experience in training and e-education technologies as well as hands on experience with on hands training sessions in form of large audiences (up to several hundreds).
  • Mature personality, feeling comfortable in standing in front of such a big audience.
  • Very good English language skills verbally as well as written; while not required, additional language skills are helpful, especially French, Spanish, Japanese, or German
  • Health, science, related educational specialty helpful. Health related clinical experience helpful.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of the customer and to provide solutions and recommendations on the conduct of training as it applies to the customer’s needs, including scenario planning and alternative methods of instruction.
  • Position requires global travel up to 25%.
